Some say it is authentic, professional, disappointed.

I decided to have lunch at the Koya Japan location in the food court at 130 King St. W., Toronto. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and bottled water for $8.68CDN. I was not impressed with my meal as it tasted very bland and the chicken was dry. I enjoy teriyaki but there was no teriyaki flavour in my meal! Also, the vegetables that came along with the meal consisted of way too many bean sprouts and purple cabbage that was turning blue. My friend, who also ordered the shrimp teriyaki, had the same opinion, however, her meal had been swimming in watery teriyaki sauce that she had to dump out of the container. I was thinking of going back to the cashier and ask for my money back but I was hungry and too disappointed and embarrassed to do so. This was honestly the worst Japanese food I have ever had. I recommend that the company look into this location and see for themselves the quality of the meals. Thanks, Ashley
